More Storage for Bedrooms

Maximising cabin’s storage capacities

Everyone wants to have a spacious bedroom fit for relaxing, sleeping and sleepover parties. But not everyone can get that best quality and spacious bedroom. One of the challenges of home management is finding a bedroom that has more storage capacity. A bed usually consumes almost half of the room’s space. If you haphazardly and hastily add more cabinets, bedside tables and drawers inside, the room’s occupant might suffer from claustrophobia. Storage space is an important part for any bedroom. However, if there is limited space available, you need to know how to maximise it for your storage system. You may come up with creative strategies and get rid of unnecessary items that serve as space consumers. Some of these items might be out-of-style dresses that you rarely wear, old-fashioned shoes that no longer fit your feet and damaged bags. By eliminating these space consumers, you can have enough available space in your bedroom.

Likewise, in a cabin accommodation of cruise ship, it is preferable for travellers not to bring much unnecessary items. A majority of travellers choose to pack light and carry along the basic items needed for the cruise ship. This is to ensure that the traveller’s storage areas in the cabin will not be fully occupied. A cabin normally has one bed, a cabinet and a bathroom. Cabins can vary in size, ranging from small room that spans less than 100 square feet to a very large suite with over 5000 square feet. In fact, some cruise ships offer cabins with ample storage facilities including a writing desk and chair. It depends on the type of accommodation that you book. But nevertheless, you can maximise every storage facility by carefully planning all the things you will bring and by carefully unpacking and storing your belongings. In maximising your cabin’s storage facilities, here are some things to consider:

1. hang all dresses, polo shirts, polos, blouses and skirts in the cabinet.

2. fold all pairs of jeans, shorts, shirts, jackets and trousers and properly arrange them in the cabinet shelves.

3. use a safety vault for all your cash, valuable things and gadgets such as mp3 players, portable video game consoles and gadget chargers.

4. keep your luggage sets and bags under your bed in order to save space.

A comfortable cabin does not have to be as big as a hotel pent house. The guest must know how to maximise the storing facilities in order to enjoy a spacious cabin.
